Zona Cero Colombia: Panamericana Airlines, the cargo airline that came to stay in Colombia
The cargo airline, Panamericana Airlines, is here to stay in Colombia. The company opened its first office in Barranquilla, which is considered a strategic city worldwide.
Thomas Friese, founding partner, informed Zona Cero that they are part of a group of global companies. He announced that the airplanes will arrive in our country next week.
"We want to be an airline in Colombia that pays its taxes," Friese said. "We want to change the cargo transportation system in Colombia, to improve," He added.
The idea of the Airline is that people can send packages to other countries without having to leave their homes. Panamericana Airlines has generated approximately 40 direct jobs in Barranquilla, making punctual payments. Of course, they need 2,000 workers to complete the operation in Colombia.
